Well it turns out there was a reason I was bored at work last time I wrote here. They didn’t need me! Don’t cry for me though; I didn’t get fired. I was simply “unassigned” for a period of about 4 months, which was nice… I got to get paid for doing nothing! Well almost nothing. I had to sit at home and do training. But I have to admit it was awesome.

The Company really has their act together. They placed me in a new project, in a state 700 miles away. So I have moved. I am now working again, and have been since October. Now I get paid to break database software! :)

Well, it’s over a year later, and I have learned a lot from my experiences being the fool. Now I’m living life, as I intended from the beginning.

Life has changed dramatically now that I have finally completed my undergraduate degree.

I have been offered training with the company. The company is interesting, the company is… oh well. We’ll see what happens.

Computers and people are not meant to get along together. I have devoted the last 5 years of my life to studying human-computer diplomacy: aka computer science. Lately, I’ve been playing the fool, trying to act like I don’t know as much about this stuff as I do. If I did let everyone know what I knew, I would get asked to do stuff I don’t want to do at work.

I’m working a temp job through a staffing agency. They have me doing data entry, which sucks. I just wanted some money. I can’t believe what I’m willing to do for some extra money.

I guess I’m a fool for spending money, which gets me into trouble with my credit providers. Wonderfull…
